This wine, from a private plot at the Quinta do Ameal (Marejão), is a unique and complex wine with character.
Manual harvest, pneumatic pressing of whole grapes. Cold decanting of the must for 24 hours. Fermentation at controlled temperature (10 – 15ºC), between 12 and 15 days.
Light citrine colour
Unique and complex aroma, dominated by citrus fruits, characteristic of the Loureiro variety.
In the mouth it is vibrant and balanced, with a long and lingering finish. A wine with character, which will develop well over the next 15 years.
